Finding You

Women's

Sobriety Circle

A safe and welcoming online space for women who are sober or simply sober curious,

to come together for support and inspiration .

THE HARDEST PART IS DONE - yOU'VE MADE THE DECISION

TO QUIT DRINKING.

Sobriety Is The Ultimate Act Of

Self-Care.

Yet, in a culture where socialising is deeply entwined with drinking, stopping drinking can feel scary.

You might feel judged, exhausted from constantly explaining your choice, or you might feel a bit of sadness knowing you've outgrown communities you once belonged to.

I understand this from personal experience. You're navigating a brave new life, and the loneliness you feel right now is entirely understandable, but it doesn't have to be permanent.

You're not the only one feeling...

... uncomfortable or awkward in social situations focused around drinking.

... a sadness of outgrowing friendships and shifting old habits.

...exhausted from constantly defending your decision to others.

...needing a place to just be you.

Together we are stronger

Sobriety is the

ultimate self-care.

FEELING HESITANT?

Your Questions, Answered.

I know that joining a new space, especially online, might feel intimidating. You might be wondering if you'll 'fit in' or if you're 'sober enough' to be here. This is a welcoming, pressure & judgement-free circle. Here are a few common questions to help you feel at ease before we meet.

Group rules - so everyone feels safe.

Confidentiality builds trust and creates a safe space. We will respect and maintain the confidentiality of everyone in this group. Don't disclose personal information or discussions outside the group setting.

All participants must treat one another with respect, regardless of their backgrounds, beliefs or experiences.

Sharing is voluntary, and you should never feel pressured to disclose more than you are comfortable with. However, keep in mind thatsharing your personal experiences, struggles and achievements related to sobriety will help inspire and support others.

Listening is essential in a group like this. You should give your undivided attention to the person speaking, without interruption or judgment. Listening with empathy, validates others' experiences, and encourages open communication within the group.

Your job is not to fix anyone or solve anyone's problems. This is simply a safe space to share, gain support and learn from one another's experiences. Please refrain from offering unsolicited advice - this can undermine the supportive nature of the group.

All common sense really... :)

Do I have to speak or share?

Not at all. You are welcome to simply listen, keep your camera off if you prefer, and absorb the shared energy. Your presence alone is a gift to the circle, and there is absolutely no pressure to speak.

Do I have to be 100% sober to join?

We welcome women at all stages of their journey. Whether you have years of continuous sobriety, are just starting out, or are simply 'sober-curious' and exploring a new relationship with alcohol, you belong here.

Is this considered therapy?

No, this is a peer support circle. While healing and connection often happen in community, this is not a clinical treatment program, nor is it a substitute for professional mental health care or therapy.

What if I can't attend every month?

That's perfectly okay. Our circle is ongoing, and you can join us whenever it feels right for your schedule and your heart. There is no mandatory attendance required.
